A new world with bioplastic

The main theme is Bioplastics and sustainibility. Age of students: 12-13. Our younger students (6th year students) will introduce themselves in English, instead, students aged 13 will be mainly involved in the creation of bioplastic objects. In particular, we would like to create Christmas tree decorations or a bioplastic christmas tree (Nov. -Dec.) with various kind of bioplastics that we will produce at school with few natural ingredients: cornstarch, vinegar, milk, glycerol, food dyes for sweets, etc. We can also build dyes from chalk. There are many Youtube videos and here enclosed you can find an example of them . You will also need silicone molds/ shapes and an electric plate to warm up the ingredients. Later they would create other decorative objects in bioplastic and to promote the the awarenes in the consumer sustainibility they should create an advertisement to promote the sale of these objects.
