Let the games begin!

Let the games begin!

07.12.2023 72

Nowadays when we live in this digital era and are surrounded with digital natives, the first activities that children associate with games and playing are gadgets and PlayStation games. Teachers' thoughts are that students should replace their time spent using gadgets for the traditional way of playing which is one of the most important children’s needs. Students are going to present their working group and celebrate the European Day of Languages by teaching the other groups a poem, song, numbers or something else by choice. They are going to play traditional games from each of the countries which will be presented by making videos, pictures, games' descriptions and finally the booklet with all the games will be made. They are going to play board games, quizzes and produce a game or toy by their choice. The product can be sold at the school’s fair or given away as a present. Students and teachers are going to organise a video conference to analyse the project’s activities and get to know their European peers better.
